In Carole King's words, "Where Shonda Rhimes clues, we will follow anywhere, she tells us:" Well, maybe it's not a direct quote, but you get the point of Scandal Season 4. But Jack Ballard (Scott Foley) potential death of our position on the scandal questioned Ms. Rhimes sanity.

In the final moments of the episode on Thursday, continued sturdy frame, Captain pedal. Ballard went into the Pope & Associates office, call Olivia's name. It turned out that this is not Washington fixer who texted him, but part of the villainous father papal conspiracy involving Olivia's latest boyfriend Russell (Brian White), before luring B613 commands into deadly traps. Jack Russell quietly into ninja gear, stabbing him in the stomach several times. Now, the piano top of gender advocates will no longer be able to show off their glittering six-pack abs. (Way to go, Las!) Basically, Olivia should just give up dating, because her man is always a bloody connection string.

In this week's episode promo, "the first lady to sing the blues," we saw a seemingly dead Jack lying on the conference room table Russell told Ron, "Ballard has been eliminated."

A woman (either Quinn or Olivia), then can be heard crying desperately, "Jack is dead! Jack is dead!"

Let us say a silent prayer quickly, this is a dream sequence of a well-designed (and very cruel), in which Olivia imagine the worst. As we want to hope for the best, the scandal tells us better.
